Antiqua (Magazzini del Cotone Porto Antico, January 27th – February 4th, 2024)

From January 27th to February 4th, 2024, the XXIII edition of Antiqua returns, the antique art market that showcases to an audience of enthusiasts and connoisseurs a wide selection of antique dealers from all over Italy.

This fair of historical heritage offers a journey through time among ancient artifacts, archaeological finds, and history lessons that tell the roots and legacy of the city and the entire Mediterranean.

On display are high-era furnishings, sculptures, carpets, ceramics, artistic glassware, silverware, jewelry, and collectible items. The presence of paintings is significant, with a selection ranging from the seventeenth century to the celebrated Ligurian school of the twentieth century.

The theme of this edition is sacred art, with dedicated exhibition areas and moments of in-depth exploration created with the contribution of prominent museum institutions to strengthen the cultural bond with the city. Works and themed furnishings will act as a common thread among the stands of the attending antique dealers. 

The Night of the Writers (Palazzo Ducale, February 23rd, 2024)

On February 23rd, 2024, Genoa transforms into a stage of words, stories, and imagination. The vibrant atmosphere of the city is colored with magic: acclaimed authors and young talents come together to create an experience that goes far beyond the written page. Streets come alive with enigmatic readings in every corner, with iconic locations turning into literary settings. Squares, cafes, and bookstores become ephemeral theaters where the magic of words comes to life.

The Night of the Writers is not just a series of book presentations or readings; it's an interactive experience that captures the imagination and stimulates creativity. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in compelling discussions, lively debates, and encounters with the writers themselves.

ArteGenova (Fiera di Genova, February 16th-18th, 2024)

Genoa has always shown a strong sensitivity to modern and contemporary art: evidence of this can be found in the presence of numerous art galleries in the Ligurian capital and the increasingly frequent artistic initiatives promoted by its citizens. Following the success of the last edition, ArteGenova returns from February 16th to 18th, 2024, the modern and contemporary art market exhibition.

Three days dedicated to culture and investment in art awaited every year by numerous operators, visitors, investors, and collectors from all over Italy and abroad. More than 150 galleries will offer enthusiasts an anthology of works of the highest level as always.

Moreover, it will be possible to delve into contemporary art and the innovative experiments of contemporary artists encapsulated in videos, installations, photographs, or live performances.
